Responsibilities:

  • Administer chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments to patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
  • Monitor and assess patient responses, providing passionate care and support throughout treatment.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive care plans.
  • Educate patients and families about treatment protocols, side effects, and ongoing care.
  • Utilize specialized equipment and maintain a safe, sterile environment.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of oncology nursing experience.
  • Valid ONS chemo/immunotherapy certification or OCN certification required.
  • BLS certification is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of outpatient chemotherapy and immunotherapy regimens.
  • Must be fully vaccinated, including the COVID booster.

Work Environment:

Work primarily in an infusion center, with responsibilities extending to inpatient care as needed. Be part of a supportive team that values collaboration and patient-centered care.
