About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Nutrition Specialist to join our team at ACCELerate Philadelphia in Philadelphia, PA. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing expert nutrition care to our patients and residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive nutrition plans of care for residents/patients, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to ensure the effectiveness of nutritional interventions.
  • Provide education and instruction to residents/patients, family members, and caregivers on nutrition-related topics.
  • Collaborate with the food service director to ensure the provision of nutritious and appealing meals.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of nutrition assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) or Licensed Dietitian (LD) certification, as required by the state of employment.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting or as a consulting dietitian, preferably with a geriatric population.
