Job Title: CWMD Watch Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled CWMD Watch Operations Specialist to support the Department of Homeland Security, The Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction Office (CWMD) and Watch Operations.

About the Job:

The successful candidate will be responsible for training and certifying all vendor Watch Officer personnel, the Technical Editor, and the Site Lead as they onboard. This includes maintaining and sustaining the CWMD Watch training plan, developing curriculum for new tasks, and scheduling training sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and sustain the CWMD Watch training plan, including updating new tasks and developing curriculum for new tasks.
  • Train and certify vendor Watch Officer personnel, the Technical Editor, and the Site Lead on watch tasks.
  • Develop a reinforcement training plan to ensure proficiency in watch tasks over a specified period.
  • Perform remedial training with watch officers who display difficulty with performing specific tasks or perform tasks incorrectly.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and 4+ years' related experience, such as training specialist for the Center for Disaster Preparedness or as a Military Instructor.
  • Ability to obtain DHS Suitability and possess a TS/SCI clearance.

Estimated Salary:$85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
