Job Overview

Responsibilities
  1. Provide high-quality respiratory care services to patients of all age groups, utilizing advanced knowledge of ventilation strategies and life support equipment.
  2. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop effective treatment plans, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
  3. Maintain and troubleshoot cardiopulmonary life support equipment, including ventilators and non-invasive ventilation systems.
  4. Evaluate and interpret diagnostic results, making informed recommendations to enhance patient care.
  5. Demonstrate expertise in oxygen delivery methods and equipment, conducting prescribed therapeutic procedures as needed.

Requirements
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Care from an accredited program.
  • Credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the state of North Carolina.
  • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association.
  • Advanced certifications may be required, dependent on facility policies.
