ExecuSource is currently seeking a Project Director with over a decade of experience, primarily for various locations across Greater New England.
This role necessitates expertise in public utility / wastewater / water engineering, focusing on wastewater treatment assessments, strategic planning, design, and construction oversight, along with managing interdisciplinary projects. Experience in wastewater treatment process design is highly advantageous for this position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the development and management of municipal, commercial, and industrial planning and design initiatives within the water resources sector.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through established client connections and market insights.
  • Lead project teams in the creation of engineering reports, studies, and designs, adhering to recognized industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Direct project teams in the field evaluation and assessment of existing infrastructure, including treatment facilities, collection systems, and pumping stations.
  • Flexibility in managing multiple projects, engaging directly with clients to comprehend their needs and advance project planning and design efforts, while participating in relevant training programs and conferences as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other design and study teams to enhance responsiveness to client requirements.
  • Mentor and guide project managers, project engineers, and junior engineering personnel.
  • Engage in professional organizations and technical committees.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, with a preference for a Master's degree.
  • 12 or more years of relevant engineering experience, with registration as a Professional Engineer or the ability to obtain it within six months of employment.
  • Strong ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with local clients.
  • Proven leadership capabilities and successful collaboration experience.
  • Exceptional communication skills, encompassing verbal, written, and public presentation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, adept in conflict resolution, team leadership, and presentations.
  • High ethical standards, committed to delivering quality results, and fostering teamwork, respect, and integrity.
  • Willingness to travel as required, with a valid driver's license.
Compensation Overview: Competitive salary based on experience, with year-end performance bonuses, Employee Stock Option Plan (ESOP) bonuses, and annual salary increases of up to 4%.
