Job Description
The Facilities Management Planning & Design Department at VCU is seeking a Project Manager to join their team. This project management position involves overseeing all coordination and management of capital and non-capital planning & design to facilitate successful completion of projects. The core management functions of this position include developing project budgets, managing architectural and engineering design consultants, managing project schedules, and coordinating submission of drawings for permit review.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates must have a BS in architecture, engineering or related field. They must also possess effective written and verbal communication skills relative to the construction industry, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently. A Virginia Driver's License is required, and a good driving record is essential. Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment is also necessary.
