Horticulture Specialist

Job Summary:

The University of Minnesota is seeking a highly qualified Horticulture Lecturer to join our team. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the field of horticulture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach and develop courses in horticulture, including plant identification, gardening techniques, and landscape design.
• Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of our students and the industry.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to students in the horticulture program.
• Stay current with industry trends and developments in horticulture.
• Collaborate with other faculty members to develop and implement new programs and initiatives.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in horticulture or a related field.
• Teaching experience in horticulture or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of industry trends and developments in horticulture.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in horticulture or a related field.
• Experience in curriculum development and implementation.
• Experience in program evaluation and assessment.
