Family Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Family Support Counselor to join our team at La Frontera EMPACT-SPC. As a Family Support Counselor, you will have the opportunity to form positive supportive relationships with children and adults in caring, family and community-based environments. You will assist with the coordination of case management services and communication of community-based resources. Additionally, you will perform procedures to support clinical operations, including problem resolution and customer service, documentation, attending Child and Family Teams, and performing other duties as assigned.

Work with children with behavioral needs and different diagnoses
Work with parents on parenting skills, modifying behavior, and modeling parenting style
Engage with others easily, coordinate with DCS, and follow up in a timely manner
Use behavior charts and behavior modification skills
Work a flexible schedule, including evening and/or weekend hours
Be detail-oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Have a Fingerprint clearance card or be eligible to obtain one
Have a valid AZ driver's license with no major infractions in the past three years
Have regular access to reliable transportation
Be bi-lingual (Spanish) and have a differential hourly rate available
Be at least 21 years of age at the time of employment
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Behavioral Health related field or meet BHT qualifications required
Experience working with children with behavioral needs and different diagnoses
Experience working with parents on parenting skills, modifying behavior, and modeling parenting style
Ability to engage with others easily, coordinate with DCS, and follow up in a timely manner
Previous use of behavior charts and behavior modification skills
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evening and/or weekend hours
Detail-oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Fingerprint clearance card or eligible to obtain one
Valid AZ driver's license with no major infractions in the past three years
Regular access to reliable transportation
Bi-lingual (Spanish) and differential hourly rate available
At least 21 years of age at the time of employment
