We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Ascension. As a critical care specialist, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, including medication administration, wound care, and other treatments as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Wisconsin.
- Advanced Life Support certification within 6 months of hire date.
- Basic Life Support certification within 1 month of hire date.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification preferred.
