Primary Care Clinician

We are looking for a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at NYC Health + Hospitals/Correctional Health Services. As a key member of our healthcare delivery team, you will provide primary care to patients in jail-based clinics, perform intake evaluations and treatment, and provide emergency care with the support of Emergency Medicine physicians.

Responsibilities and RequirementsAs a Nurse Practitioner on our team, you will be responsible for:
- Providing primary care to patients in jail-based clinics
- Performing intake evaluations and treatment
- Providing emergency care with the support of Emergency Medicine physicians
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A valid New York State license and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse
- A current certificate as a Nurse Practitioner issued by the New York State Department of Education
- A current certification issued by the State Education Department to prescribe medication
We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
