About the Role

Benchmark Human Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team in La Fontaine, IN. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities and mental illness in our Group Homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to promote positive behavior and support.
  • Implement Behavior Support Plans, Replacement Behavior Trials, and reinforcement plans consistently and effectively.
  • Provide positive behavioral supports and reinforcement to individuals engaging in socially appropriate behavior.
  • Respond to emergency situations as trained, utilizing Mandt Training.
  • Implement Relational Mandt to ensure a positive and therapeutic environment.
  • Implement Technical Mandt when safety is compromised.
Requirements
  • Reliable transportation and valid auto insurance.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities and mental illness preferred.
