Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at BlazerJobs. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in speech therapy and a valid Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) license.

Job Details:
  • Location: North Saint Paul, MN
  • Schedule: 2.5 days per week (flexible days)
  • Caseload: 20-30 students
  • Disabilities: Range from mild to severe
  • Interviews: Conducted virtually
  • Compensation: $40+ per hour
  • Note: CFYs will not be considered
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and execute individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students with diverse disabilities.
  • Deliver direct instruction and support, modifying teaching strategies to accommodate individual learning needs.
  • Work collaboratively with general education staff and other professionals to foster inclusive learning environments.
  • Conduct assessments to evaluate student eligibility for special education services and track their progress.
  • Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings to review student progress and educational strategies.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate records in accordance with educational regulations.
  • Provide guidance and training to staff and families on effective strategies to enhance student learning and behavior.
Qualifications:
  • Current Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) license.
  • Experience with a diverse range of disabilities.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting.
  • Willingness to adapt to a flexible work schedule.
