Job Description

Oracle is seeking a highly skilled Data Center Technician to join our team. As a Data Center Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our data center infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support and maintenance for data center infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, and networking equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with other technical teams to ensure seamless operation of data center services.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for data center infrastructure and technical procedures.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of new data center projects and initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure support and server administration in a mid-sized environment.
  • Strong understanding of data center design, including electrical and cooling plant operations.
  • Experience with structured cabling, rack and stack equipment, and commissioning of new racks.
  • Strong knowledge of systems administration, hardware repair, and networking fundamentals.
