NICU Registered Nurse Per Diem Opportunity

We are seeking a talented NICU Registered Nurse to join our team on a per diem basis at the Level II Nursery in North Naples. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care, assume teaching and leadership responsibilities, and participate in unit committee and quality improvement activities.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to patients using standards of care, policy, and procedure.
  • Provide direct nursing care, including administering medication safely and accurately.
  • Participate in data collection on the unit and perform thorough admission assessments.
  • Follow hospital policy regarding the use of clinical pathways and provide feedback regarding problems and complaints.
  • Maintain clinical skills and knowledge of policies, attending courses and in-services offered, and utilizing security systems for infant and pediatric safety.

The ideal candidate will have experience in NICU nursing, hold a valid Registered Nurse or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse license in the state of Florida, and possess Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association. Accepted candidates will be expected to work 12-hour night shifts.

Requirements:

  • Valid Registered Nurse or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse license in the state of Florida.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
  • Experience in NICU nursing.
