We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at VitalCore Health Strategies, a leading provider of correctional healthcare services. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Job SummaryThe Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care, administering medications, and monitoring patients for reactions and side effects. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate and detailed records, consulting with healthcare team members, and modifying treatment plans as needed.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and monitoring patients for reactions and side effects
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and vital signs
- Consult with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans
- Modify treatment plans as needed based on patient responses and conditions
- Monitor all aspects of patient care, including diet and physical activity
- Direct or supervise less-skilled nursing or healthcare personnel
- Prepare patients for and assist with examinations or treatments
- Instruct individuals, families, or other groups on topics such as health education, disease prevention, and childbirth
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- At least 1 year experience in an acute care setting
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment
- Active CPR certification
- Knowledge of specific state laws and regulations governing practice
