Job Title: Security Guard

Location: Plainwell facility of JBS USA

About the Job: We are seeking a skilled Security Guard to join our team at the Plainwell facility. As a Security Guard, you will play a critical role in maintaining the security and integrity of our plant and grounds.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor plant activity and ensure the security of the facility, grounds, and assets.
• Conduct hourly rounds to check trailer temperatures, room temperatures, and gates.
• Monitor all associates entering and exiting the building, including car traffic.
• Weigh trailers in and out using the weight master scales.
• Answer the switchboard after hours and handle billing loads.
• Implement company policies and procedures.
• Operate company-owned vehicles and receive and sort company mail.
• Inspect trailers for cleanliness and operability and receive shipments of supplies and raw materials.

Requirements:

• Ability to read and write in English.
• Strong computer skills preferred.
• Ability to walk more than one mile on varying terrain in all weather conditions and up/down stairs.
• Ability to perform assigned tasks without direct supervision.
• Ability to communicate effectively under stress.
• Attention to detail and a professional attitude.
• Ability to work any shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
