About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Specialist to join our Program for Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) team at The Guidance Center in Cumberland County, NJ.

Job Summary

This is a full-time position working 40 hours a week. The successful candidate will participate in developing individualized recovery plans, work collaboratively with the PACT team, and provide evidenced-based case management and advocacy services.

About the Position

A Clinical Specialist attends case reviews and daily team meetings, providing evidence-based individual and group counseling to help clients achieve their valued roles. They will also provide emergency mental health assessments, consult with medical staff on medication concerns, and educate family members and support persons of PACT clients.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in case reviews and daily team meetings
  • Provide individual and group counseling using evidence-based practices
  • Conduct emergency mental health assessments as needed
  • Consult with medical staff on medication concerns
  • Educate family members and support persons of PACT clients
  • Participate in Quality Improvement process for PACT Team services
  • Assess client needs, service delivery, and evaluate client progress towards goals
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a Master's degree in a human service discipline, a minimum of 2 years post-bachelor's experience in mental health services, knowledge of community resources, and a valid driver's license. Spanish speaking skills are preferred.
