Coding Instructor

We are seeking a skilled Coding Instructor to join our team at Concorde Education. As a key member of our educational development team, you will plan and facilitate collaborative coding instructional sessions using various coding languages, robotics, tools, and applications.

• You have a strong background in computer science and/or coding with extensive teaching and/or tutoring experience.
• You possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, enabling you to work effectively with students of diverse ethnic backgrounds, academic profiles, and skill levels.

• Plan and facilitate learning sessions for students, utilizing a variety of coding languages and tools.
• Assist students in developing their computer science and coding skills, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Maintain consistent communication with the Director of Educational Development, ensuring seamless collaboration and coordination.
• Model appropriate academic and social behaviors, serving as a positive role model for students.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Educational Development.

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Teaching and/or tutoring experience, preferably in a coding or computer science setting.
• Extensive computer science and/or coding experience, including knowledge of programming languages such as Scratch, Blockly, Swift, and Python.
• Ability to collect and analyze data to drive future instruction.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and apply critical thinking to various situations.

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
