Community Human Services (CHS), a dedicated nonprofit organization, is seeking qualified individuals for the role of Supervised Visitation Monitor. This part-time position is integral to our Supervised Visitation Program, which provides essential support to families in challenging situations.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver direct services within the Supervised Visitation Program, assisting families referred by the court, probation, or self-referrals.
- Oversee visitations during specified hours, including evenings and weekends, with a requirement for weekend availability.
- Maintain accurate documentation and generate written reports for legal purposes.
- Conduct initial assessments and intakes for families.
- Handle fee collection and issue receipts as necessary.
Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of visitation areas.
Qualifications:- Bilingual candidates are preferred.
- Experience or knowledge in dealing with families undergoing custody disputes and significant transitions.
- Familiarity with child and elder abuse legislation (mandated reporter status required).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and awareness.
- Must comply with California State Legislative qualifications.
- A minimum of 24 hours of supervised visitation training.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- No DUI convictions in the past five years.
- No probation or parole status in the last ten years.
- No convictions related to child molestation, child abuse, or similar offenses.
- No restraining orders within the last ten years.
- Must disclose any personal relationships with clients before providing services.
Hourly pay ranges from $23.28 to $28.29, with an additional 5% stipend for bilingual proficiency.
