Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Adult Medical Unit team. As an LPN on this unit, you will provide direct patient care in the acute care setting, utilizing your skills at a high level. You will work with a diverse patient population, including those with pneumonia, ENT, wound, bladder, UTI, DKA non-acute, lung, stomach, liver, and pancreas infections.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the acute care setting
• Utilize skills at a high level to provide quality patient care
• Work with a diverse patient population

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Practical Nursing Formal Education approved by the NM Board of Nursing
• Licensed Practical Nurse-NM
• BLS required
• PDS IV Certification course (within orientation period)
• Basic Cardiac Arrhythmias (BCA) for areas where cardiac telemetry monitoring is used (prior to ACLS)
• ACLS (within 6 months of being hired) for areas where required
