Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Maintenance Professional to join our team at Monarch Landscape Companies. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the beauty and health of our commercial landscapes.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain job sites to the highest standards, including mowing, raking, weeding, shearing, edging, trimming, and hand pruning.
  • Operate a variety of equipment, including mowers, hedge trimmers, power shears, backpack blowers, and aerators, in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Trim shrubbery using hedge trimmers and demonstrate basic hand pruning skills.
  • Develop a basic understanding of plant identification and apply it to your work.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Foreman, including operating vehicles and equipment in accordance with Monarch Safety Policy.
Requirements
  • Commercial landscape experience preferred, but not required.
  • Valid Driver's License issued from the state of employment required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Foreman and team members.
  • Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.
  • Strong commitment to high-quality work and customer service.
  • Ability to complete tasks assigned in a timely manner.
  • Apply common sense understanding to carry out tasks.
  • Deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

  • Frequently works with mechanical objects and outside in all weather conditions.
