Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at The GEO Group. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals to our clients.

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals, including meats, fish, poultry, and vegetables, using a range of cooking methods and techniques.
• Manage food production and inventory, ensuring that all food is prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner.
• Direct and supervise the work of food service staff, providing training and guidance as needed.
• Conduct regular inspections of the kitchen and food service areas to ensure that high standards of cleanliness and safety are maintained.
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement new menu ideas and improve overall food service operations.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college credits or relevant technical training in food service preparation and cooking preferred.
• Minimum two years of experience in a commercial, military, or institutional food service setting, or an equivalent combination of work experience and training.
• Valid driver's license required.
