About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to join our team as a Pool and Spa Sales Specialist at Leslies Poolmart Inc. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing the pool, hot tub, and swim spa division of our location, driving sales growth, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the sales performance of the pool, hot tub, and swim spa division, meeting or exceeding sales budgets and gross margin targets.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive customer count increase and revenue growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences to provide personalized sales solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, features, and benefits to effectively communicate with customers and close sales.
  • Collaborate with the Spa Delivery Manager, Service Manager, and installation company to ensure seamless customer experiences.
  • Train and coach team members to enhance their sales skills and product knowledge.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to drive growth.
  • Participate in home shows, tent sales, and off-site events to promote our products and services.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and mission statement.

Requirements:

  • Three or more years of sales experience, preferably in large ticket items.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with customers, understand their needs, and provide personalized sales solutions.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Commitment to hitting targets and exceeding goals.
