As a caregiver at Swedish Health Services, you will utilize your specialized skills to provide exceptional healthcare with a personal touch, making a meaningful impact in the lives of our patients every day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilizes Nursing Professional Practice: Conducts assessments, identifies relevant nursing diagnoses, and develops, implements, and evaluates patient care plans. Updates and coordinates care plans to meet patient goals and enhance outcomes across the care continuum. Monitors and communicates patient conditions as necessary.
- Advocacy: Champions ethical and comprehensive care by collaborating in care planning, promoting the autonomy, dignity, rights, values, and beliefs of patients.
- Facilitates Education: Creates a supportive learning environment for patients, families, nursing staff, and other healthcare team members, facilitating both formal and informal educational opportunities.
- Commitment to Safety and Quality: Takes responsibility for safety, identifies and resolves issues, and integrates evidence-based practices into nursing care. Ensures patient safety, personal safety, and environmental safety are prioritized.
- Professional Growth: Engages in continuous professional development, practices within the legal scope of nursing, and promotes a culture of inquiry that encourages research and evidence-based practices.
- Leadership: Coordinates teams, delegates tasks appropriately, and collaborates with other healthcare professionals to integrate nursing knowledge effectively.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Active Registered Nurse License in Washington State.
- Current National Provider ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Minimum of one year of experience in Cardio Diagnostics Nursing.
