We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pediatric Emergency Nurse to join our team at Tucson Medical Center. As a Pediatric Emergency Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to children and adolescents in a fast-paced emergency department setting.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to pediatric patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and perform various medical procedures as needed.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in their condition.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in pediatric emergency nursing.
- Previous charge nurse experience required.
- Current certifications in Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC), PALS, BLS, and ACLS.
- Strong skills in starting IVs, pediatric dosage calculations, and administering oxygen.
- Preferred skills in gastrointestinal, genitourinary/renal, hematology, ID, IV therapy/phlebotomy, neuro, ortho, respiratory, and EPIC.
13 weeks, every other weekend coverage or TBD between manager and contractor.
