Job Summary: We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced educator to join our team as an Extracurricular Mentor Teacher - Medical Assisting. As a mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of new teachers and providing guidance on teaching techniques, classroom management, and student relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in a formal beginning teacher assistance program
  • Help resolve problems of beginning teachers through assistance and support
  • Classroom observation and follow-up conferences concerning teaching techniques, classroom management skills, and improved relationships with students
  • Assist with identifying goals and objectives
  • Assist with self-evaluation of intern teacher

Requirements:

  • Five (5) years of teaching experience
  • Master's degree and/or previous advanced training in teacher effectiveness
  • Willingness to assist new teachers and perform assigned responsibilities
