Agglomerator Operator

At Quality Liquid Feeds, Inc., we are seeking a skilled and diligent Feed Production Specialist to join our dynamic team at our manufacturing facility. This position is crucial to maintaining the high standards of our feed production process.

• Operate and Monitor Equipment: Ensure the efficient operation of the Agglomerator equipment to produce high-quality feed products according to specified formulations.
• Coordinate Production Activities: Schedule and coordinate batching and production activities to meet production goals and customer demands.
• Maintain Cleanliness and Safety: Perform daily end-of-day clean-up of the Agglomerator and surrounding work areas to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
• Receive and Store Ingredients: Receive incoming ingredients at the manufacturing facility, unload trucks, and ensure proper storage and documentation of materials.
• Maintain Equipment: Assist in maintaining equipment through regular inspections, installation, repair records, and adherence to preventative maintenance schedules.
• Ensure Safety Protocols: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
• Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members to ensure smooth production operations.

• Basic Math Skills: Ability to perform basic calculations related to feed formulations and equipment operations.
• Physical Stamina: Capable of lifting up to 55 pounds regularly and working at elevated heights as needed.
• Experience: Previous experience in feed production or a similar manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Technical Proficiency: Experience with operating automated and manual equipment, including pumps and routing systems.
• Maintenance Skills: Ability to perform basic preventative and corrective maintenance on machinery and facilities.
• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on feed safety, quality control, and adherence to established procedures.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly identify and address issues to minimize production disruptions.
