Afterschool Instructor

We're seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Afterschool Instructor to join our team at iKids U. As a part-time instructor, you'll lead children in age-appropriate afterschool activities, including Drama, beginner Spanish, and STEM classes. You'll also supervise children during afterschool hours, foster positive relationships with children, families, colleagues, and school clients, and maintain a safe and welcoming play-based learning environment.

• Lead preschool and elementary-age children in age-appropriate provided afterschool activities
• Supervise children during afterschool hours
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, colleagues, and school clients
• Maintain a safe and welcoming play-based learning environment
• Check kids in and out of your classroom using our iPads and childcare online system

• High school diploma required; bachelor's in education or related field preferred
• Previous experience in childcare, education, or related settings preferred
• Understanding of child development and behavior management
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Follow through and professionalism
• A willingness to learn and take on the care of a dozen students each class period
• CPR and First Aid certification required or willingness to obtain within 30 days of job start

$19.00 per hour
