Cement Mason Job Description

At Atkinson Construction, we value our union members and offer a range of opportunities for skilled craftsmen. As a Cement Mason, you will be responsible for various tasks, including chipping, patching, and grinding concrete. You will also set forms, stakes, and grades, and perform other duties associated with concrete polishing and pervious concrete.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Chipping and patching concrete
  • Setting forms, stakes, and grades
  • Performing concrete polishing and pervious concrete work
  • Supervising and coordinating a crew of Cement Masons
Requirements:
  • Apprenticeship or journeyman experience in cement masonry
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
