We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Real Estate Associate to join our team at Newmark Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and supporting all aspects of our real estate lending platform, including origination, underwriting, and asset management.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze potential investment opportunities to determine their viability and potential return on investment.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models using Excel and ARGUS to evaluate the financial performance of potential investments.
- Conduct due diligence on potential investments, including site visits and analysis of development budgets, sponsor/guarantor credit profiles, and market information.
- Prepare investment committee packages and present transactions to the investment committee.
- Support the management of our deal pipeline and assist in the monitoring of overall portfolio and credit risk.
- Research and analyze markets and submarkets to identify trends and opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as real estate, finance, business, or accounting.
- 3+ years of experience in a real estate lending platform, investment bank, institutional real estate fund, or institutionally backed sponsor.
- Outstanding proficiency in creating complex financial models using Excel and ARGUS.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Competitive salary range of $125,000 - $175,000 annually.
