Apparel Sorter

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Apparel Sorter at Alabama Goodwill Industries Inc. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for sorting and quality selecting apparel and soft line goods into salable and salvage categories.

• Ensure 100% donor and customer satisfaction by maintaining high-quality standards in sorting and processing apparel
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sort count goals and maintain a smooth workflow
• Stay up-to-date on brand names, designer labels, current and vintage styles, and price points for soft line goods
• Identify and separate high-quality items from those that are damaged or unsellable
• Assist with pricing, tagging, and transporting of apparel as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized sorting and processing area
• Adhere to all store and personnel policies and procedures

• Ability to perform basic math skills and maintain accurate records
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and quality
• Regular attendance and punctuality are essential
• Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members and customers
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to new processes

This is a part-time position that requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
