Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Material Handler to join our team at RJW Logistics. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our warehouse, including the receipt, storage, and shipment of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move goods around the warehouse.
  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Store goods in a safe and organized manner, using warehouse operations sheets to track inventory.
  • Load and unload goods from trailers and containers, using proper procedures to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Process outbound cross-dock freight as necessary, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to OSHA regulations and RJW safety policies.
  • Perform daily forklift maintenance inspections to ensure equipment is in good working order.
  • Assist with inventory management, including counting and verifying stock levels.
  • Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and management to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
  • 3-6 months of forklift driving experience in a warehouse setting.
  • Good stable work record.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Warehousing certifications a plus.
