We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Intern to join our Global Strategic Procurement team in Indianapolis. This team manages all supplier-facing aspects of the global supply chain for medical research and laboratory work. The selected candidate will work on a project that matches their area of interest while collaborating closely with talented and experienced supply chain professionals. The results of their work will contribute directly to our products or processes, providing improvements to health and medicine around the globe.
Responsibilities:- Work on a project under the direction of a mentor and in collaboration with other highly talented supply chain professionals.
- Document findings and present work to the entire team at the end of the summer.
- Minimum qualifications include a degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, and a minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.
Preferred qualifications include excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, understanding of business and finance fundamentals, demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, enthusiasm for learning new technologies and domains, outstanding documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, and interest or experience in business process development and supply chain, operations, and logistics.
