Role Summary


The Culinary Service Associate plays a vital role in ensuring a high standard of food service. Responsibilities include monitoring and documenting food temperatures, setting up and maintaining a clean serving area, preparing and serving meals, restocking food supplies, cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment, and processing payments using a computerized register.

Adherence to Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) guidelines is essential. The role requires delivering outstanding customer service and effective communication with both patrons and team members. Building positive working relationships is key.

Quality control standards must be maintained, and the associate may operate various kitchen equipment, including grills, beverage machines, cash registers, and dishwashers. Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred.

The ability to work independently when required, along with a solid understanding of food safety and sanitation practices, is necessary. Candidates should be prepared to be on their feet for extended periods and cover significant distances.


Qualifications


Applicants must be at least 16 years old. Previous experience in customer service, cash handling, and food service is advantageous. Candidates should possess the ability to read, write, and follow both oral and written instructions, as well as perform basic mathematical calculations. On-the-job training will be provided.

Depending on the hiring location, obtaining Serv Safe certification within a specified timeframe may be required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may also be necessary based on location requirements.
