Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse RN to join our Trauma Intermediate Care Unit team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide exceptional patient care to a variety of complex patients, including trauma and surgical patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct and safe patient care based on the nursing process, and coordinate care for assigned patients on a shift to promote the achievement of clinical outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with other care team members to recruit and retain an excellent nursing care team.
- Participate in quality improvement activities, including identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing evidence-based practice.
- Lead interdisciplinary rounds to facilitate appropriateness of care and smooth transitions across the continuum.
- Exemplify professional practice by demonstrating competence in RN I performance expectations and seeking feedback for improved clinical practice.
- Licensure or other certifications: Licensed to practice as an RN in Georgia.
- Educational Requirements: Associate's Degree, ADN or Diploma required.
- Minimum Experience: At least 1 year of RN experience – Demonstrated competence in RN I performance expectations or meets experience requirements upon hire.
- Preferred Licensure or other certifications: BSN.
