Job Summary

We are seeking a part-time Nursing Assistant to join our Orthopedic Unit, which specializes in musculoskeletal system issues and physical, occupational, and speech therapy. As a Nursing Assistant, you will perform daily care activities to help achieve patient care plan goals under the direction of Registered Professional Nurses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with daily care activities, including bathing, dressing, feeding, ambulating, personal hygiene, and vital sign taking.
  • Support and actively contribute to the achievement of patient goals associated with the plan of care.
  • Individualize communication based on patient needs and families.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of patient care experience or current enrollment in an accredited Registered Nursing program with successful completion of fundamentals coursework.
  • BLS certification at time of hire or within two weeks after hire date.
