We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our team as an Assistant Professor of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical care to patients at our SoleMia University of Miami clinical location, with a focus on general dermatology. The individual will also contribute to research, administrative, and educational activities, with a 65% clinical effort and 35% research/administrative/educational effort.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in a clinical setting
  • Contribute to research projects and scholarly work
  • Participate in educational conferences and department meetings
  • Share inpatient coverage and telehealth service for the cruise lines
  • Generate sufficient funds to cover professional income practice expenses and contribute to the Department of Dermatology
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a Florida licensed M.D. degree, be fully trained in Dermatology, and be board-certified or board-eligible. The individual must also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to work efficiently and independently as part of a collaborative group.
