Key Responsibilities- Perform routine preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on production systems and equipment
- Troubleshoot, repair, align, calibrate, inspect, and test a variety of production systems and equipment
- Perform hydraulic, pneumatic, high voltage electrical, and mechanical repairs on injection molding equipment
- Set up and repair assembly line equipment within established parameters
- Assist in installing new equipment and moving equipment to new locations
- Disassemble machines and parts, and adjust, repair, or replace defective parts and materials
- Use a variety of basic hand and power tools and equipment
- Instruct the production team on the proper use of equipment
- Maintain appropriate maintenance and repair logs
- Clean and lubricate parts and equipment as scheduled
- Learn all aspects of machine maintenance and become cross-trained in all areas of molding/assembly equipment
- Requisition parts needed for completion of preventive maintenance responsibilities
- Support all company safety and quality programs and initiatives
- High School Diploma/GED
- 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance
- Maintenance experience repairing plastic injection molding equipment or manufacturing machinery
- Requires experience in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic principles and systems
- Skills with PLCs and Robotics helpful
- Competitive hourly rate ($25.00 to $35.00 per hour)
