Job Summary

The Classroom Technology Specialist will provide support in daily classroom activities, ensuring consistent supervision of patients and adherence to policies and procedures. This role will assist in implementing habilitation services, reinforcing skills learned in therapy, and promoting gross and fine motor development. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to communicate effectively, work with children, and handle multiple tasks in a busy environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to policies and procedures, including regulatory requirements
  • Maintain visual supervision of patients and ensure appropriate adult-to-child ratios
  • Speak in a pleasant, positive, and caring voice to patients, parents, and personnel
  • Represent the program in a positive attitude and approach
  • Assist in implementing Individualized Treatment Plans and developing goals/objectives
  • Review lesson plans with the Lead Teacher and assist with ensuring accuracy of Tally Sheets
  • Provide guidance and supervision of classroom planning and activities
  • Ensure children are signed in/out of the classroom and receive 1 hour of outdoor play time per day

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalency
  • CDA preferred but not required
  • One year of Early Childhood Education experience preferred
  • Clear Criminal Record Check, Arkansas Child & Adult Maltreatment Regulatory Checks, FBI Regulatory Check, including National Sex Offender Registry
  • Pass a drug screen (upon offer, annually, and/or randomly)
