Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Rental Community Liaison to join our team at DTN Management.

About Us:

DTN Management is a leading vertically integrated real estate firm based in Lansing, MI. We have been a trusted partner in the multifamily industry for over 50 years, with a reputation for delivering exceptional results and unique experiences for our residents.

Salary: $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate and manage leads for new leases, converting them into successful partnerships.
  • Foster positive relationships with employees, future residents, community members, and current residents.
  • Collaborate with the leasing team to exceed property goals and drive business growth.
  • Assist in planning and hosting resident events that promote a sense of community and enhance the overall living experience.
  • Utilize approved technology and operating software to create, manage, and convert leads into leases, as well as manage resident needs.
  • Create and present leases to future residents and renewing current residents, ensuring a seamless and professional experience.
  • Enter work orders as received and follow up after completion to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, tailored to meet the specific needs of the site.

Requirements:

  • High school education or equivalent.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
  • Experience with or the ability to learn technology and operating software used at DTN communities, including Yardi, Microsoft Office Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Able to learn and utilize social media and reputation management websites, such as Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat.
  • Motivation to continuously improve and learn, with a strong desire to provide excellent customer outcomes.
  • Strong people skills, with the ability to educate, support, and overcome objections of current and future residents.
  • Reliable transportation to get to work daily and conduct daily job responsibilities.
  • A collaborative mindset and a 'can-do' attitude, essential for success in our fast-paced environment.
  • An eye for detail, ensuring that our properties and team members consistently represent the DTN brand.
  • Proficient in computers and various software platforms, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using industry software is preferred.
