Job Description

Central Texas Surgical Associates is a private group practice seeking a skilled Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our team. Our goal is to provide quality, compassionate care to our patients while maintaining a great work-life balance for our employees.

This position will involve rounding on medical/surgical floors, the step-down unit, and the ICU. You will also cover ER admissions and consults for general and trauma surgery.

We are looking for a positive and caring individual with excellent communication skills, who is a team player and can facilitate a collaborative approach to patient care.

Requirements for the position include:

  • Acute care board certification
  • 1-year inpatient nurse practitioner experience (new-grad friendly with ER background)
  • Master's degree in Nursing and graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • Unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license and DEA permit
  • Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
