Job Summary:
The 6 North Registered Nurse is a key member of the healthcare team, responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading the nursing team in assessing patient health problems and resources. This role requires a strong understanding of the functional and developmental needs of patients aged 18 and above.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patient health problems and resources, taking a leadership role in planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing plan of care.
- Provide technical nursing care and interventions to a designated patient population.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
- One year of experience in a similar role preferred.
- Current Louisiana RN License.
- Current BLS certification.
Work Environment:
This is a full-time position with a 12-week contract. The work schedule will be TBD.
