Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in an outpatient setting. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing excellent healthcare to our patients, working closely with our physical therapists to achieve good outcomes and patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, ensuring patients achieve good outcomes and are satisfied with their experience.
- Treat patients, address their concerns, and educate them on their injury, progress, and probable outcomes.
- Supervise aides when providing modalities for non-Medicare, non-BCBSM patients, and assist with general setup and cleanup duties.
- Re-evaluate patient progress, revise plans of care, and reset goals.
- Determine when to discharge patients.
- Write timely and accurate documentation, including discharges and daily progress notes.
- Achieve a reasonable level of productivity, depending on the number of referrals and patient type.
- Help develop protocols for common diagnoses.
- Participate in research studies supported by the clinic.
- Continuously develop skills by attending company continuing education events and using the continuing education allowance to attend approved courses.
- Minimum Associate of Applied Science Physical Therapist Assistant Degree.
- Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license.
- Commitment to Team's initiative of making Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) a priority, bringing a sense of belonging and empowerment within a diverse workforce.
