Job SummaryThe Surgical Technologist I assists the surgeon during operative procedures, maintaining a safe and aseptic environment in the Operating Room area. This role requires strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Assist the surgeon during operative procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.
- Maintain a safe and aseptic environment in the Operating Room area, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless execution of procedures.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and technologies.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program or equivalent experience.
- National certification in surgical technology or equivalent experience.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with strong communication and teamwork skills.
As a Surgical Technologist I at Norman Regional Health System, you will enjoy a competitive compensation package, including:
- $19.56-$31.94/hour, depending on experience.
