HEOR Analyst

Innova Solutions is seeking a skilled Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR) Consultant for a contract position. This role requires a blend of analytical prowess and methodological expertise in the HEOR domain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver analytical and methodological insights for HEOR studies.
• Assess and implement innovative statistical techniques to enhance HEOR research.
• Provide analytical support utilizing claims data, EMR data, clinical trial data, and registry data.
• Contribute to the statistical review and quality assurance of study-related documentation.
• Ensure timely and high-quality deliverables for assigned tasks.
• Collaborate with HEOR leads to design studies and select appropriate data sources.
• Assist in drafting analysis sections for manuscripts and publications.
• Conduct statistical analyses of studies/projects using SAS or similar software.
• Engage with HEOR study team members effectively.
• Support strategy development for signal detection in pre- and post-marketing analyses.
• Provide analytical support for clinical trials in Clinical Research.
• Work collaboratively across project teams.
• Act as a subject matter expert within the department and organization.

Qualifications:

• PhD/MSc in Statistics, Mathematics, Epidemiology, or a related field with a strong statistical focus.
• A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, including 5 years as a statistician in the pharmaceutical sector.
• Proficient in data analysis and programming with advanced statistical software such as SAS or SPSS.
• Comprehensive knowledge of clinical development strategies and trial designs.
• Experience with claims and EMR data.
• Ability to compile, analyze, and present data clearly and concisely.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Health Economics and Payer Analytics methodologies.
• Conduct systematic literature reviews and synthesize clinical evidence from trials and observational studies.
• Model and extrapolate clinical trial data to real-world scenarios.
• Analyze patient-reported outcomes and preferences regarding health states.
• Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects efficiently.
• Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance issues related to research and dissemination of scientific information.
