Our client, a prominent player in the design, construction, and integration of tailored material handling, assembly, and welding systems, is in search of a Service Engineering Specialist to enhance their team.

In this position, you will provide on-site assistance for electrical setup, troubleshooting, and final approval to meet customer specifications regarding equipment.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, possess excellent communication abilities, have a background in electrical and mechanical systems, and be willing to travel. This is a permanent role.

Position Title:
Service Engineering Specialist

Compensation Range:
$23.00-$34.00/hr.

What Does the Role Involve?

Support the service manager and various departments in addressing product-related technical inquiries from clients.

Assist in both local and remote service calls and installations.
Document service work orders and provide job site status updates.

Educate customer personnel on machine operations and the correct procedures for startup and troubleshooting of our standard machinery.

Review checklists and outstanding issues prior to installation to ensure that service technicians are adequately prepared. Oversee electrical installation, troubleshooting, and approval processes at client sites.


Engage in meetings as necessary with project managers and department heads to coordinate installation plans and discuss any outstanding issues before shipment.

Create and propose improvement initiatives and discuss them with management for consideration and implementation.

What Qualifications Are Required?

5 years of experience in troubleshooting and installing new machinery.

5 years of experience in factory automation, tooling, etc.

Willingness to travel for installation support and service calls (on-call 24/7 during installations).

Ability to interpret schematics and blueprints.
