About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Ski Instructor to join our Snowsports team at Bear Creek Mountain Resort and Conference Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences through expert instruction and guidance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Instruction: Provide high-quality lessons to guests of all skill levels, focusing on safety, technique, and enjoyment.
  • Guest Service: Foster a positive and welcoming environment, ensuring guests feel valued and supported throughout their experience.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to achieve team goals, share knowledge, and provide support when needed.
  • Adaptability: Be flexible and responsive to changing circumstances, such as weather conditions or guest needs.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Must be at least 16 years old by December 1st of the current season, successfully complete Instructor Training Course, and have or be willing to obtain state-mandated child abuse and criminal history clearances.
  • Skills: Intermediate skiing skills, good communication and interpersonal skills, and strong teaching abilities.
Working Conditions

This role requires working outdoors in a fast-paced environment, with exposure to varying weather conditions. You will be expected to maintain a high level of physical fitness and be able to lift up to 20 pounds.
