As a Business Systems Analyst, you'll collaborate with stakeholders to compile needs, record discoveries, and create solutions to improve business operations.

You'll partner with the development team and SMEs to establish technical solutions that meet business needs.

Encourage the application of continuous improvement methodologies to deliver customer value.

Collaborate actively with the development team and stakeholders throughout the project.

Create user stories and define acceptance criteria.

Proactively address issues that could impact the successful completion of release/sprint goals.

Evaluate preferences and requests from end users.

Engage in Scrum meetings and product sprints.

Document detailed requirements to ensure the successful implementation of business solutions.

Serve as liaison between business, Product Owner, and development teams.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or High School diploma and equivalent relevant work experience required.

3+ years' experience as a Business Analyst or similar role required.

1+ years' experience in P&C insurance required.

BA/SCRUM Master certifications a plus.

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:

In-depth knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology.

Working knowledge of product development architecture.

Proficiency in the use of analytic tools.

Excellent knowledge of user-centered design principles.

Understanding of design quality standards.

Passion for nurturing ideas and solutions to deliver exceptional customer experiences and outcomes.

Demonstrate strong organizational skills.

Strong interpersonal skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively.

Ability to think critically and objectively.

Proficient in MSO/365 applications such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
