Overview of the Role:
The TeamHealth Corporate is looking for a dedicated Hospitalist Physician to join their team in Glasgow, Kentucky. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to hospitalized patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Provide comprehensive medical care to adult patients in an inpatient setting, conducting thorough patient assessments, developing treatment plans, and monitoring progress.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Procedure Performance: Perform procedures as required, including intubation, central line placement, and others as needed.
- Educational Support: Educate and mentor medical residents and students, fostering a culture of learning.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate and timely medical records in accordance with hospital policies and engage in quality improvement initiatives.
Benefits:
This role comes with a comprehensive compensation package, including a competitive salary estimated at $420,000 per year based on industry standards and the location.
