Certified Phlebotomy Specialist

We are a leading provider of primary care and behavioral health services to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, operating ten Veteran-only primary care outpatient clinics across the country. Our mission is to provide high-quality healthcare to America's Veterans, and we are seeking a skilled Phlebotomy Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities:- Provide a welcoming and confidential environment for our Veterans
- Measure vital signs and record information in patient electronic medical records
- Obtain medical histories from patients and verify patient information
- Prepare and accurately complete all forms
- Support patient care delivery and assist providers during examinations and treatment
- Perform ancillary testing and tasks as ordered by the Center Medical Director
- Schedule clinic appointments and verify clinical reminders due at the time of each visit
- High School Diploma/GED
- Graduate of an accredited Phlebotomy certificate program
- Current Phlebotomy certification
- Knowledge of computer systems, including the MS Office Suite
- Demonstrate high-quality customer service
- Two years of continuous experience in clinical operations or medical office work post externship
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
